This historic city of Texas finally welcomed boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, who arrived in Dallas late Monday night five days before squaring off with Joshua Clottey for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title.
In my opinion, Jushua Clottey should’ve beaten Miguel Cotto in his last fight- except that he didn’t. Not that he wasn’t capable of doing so, it was more of his inability to muster enough heart and will for him to steal the victory in the ‘money’ rounds. (more…)
Supporters of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao are circulating an online petition asking AT&T Inc. and other prospective sponsors to “discontinue and forgo all endorsement relationships” with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The petition initiated by Kevin Riley a contributor to the website Bleacher Report followed what Riley said was an all-out smear campaign against the Filipino boxing champion and the Philippines. (more…)

The 25th Southeast Asian Games (or more commonly know as SEA Games) will be held this year from December 9 to 18, 2009 in Vientiane, Laos.
A total of 390 gold medals are up for grabs for the 11 participant countries, which include the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Laos, Brunei, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia.
The Philippines’ contingent to the games is composed of 253 athletes hoping to take home at least 15 gold medals and improve its 6th place finish in the 2007 SEA Games. (more…)
Seems a video of Manny Pacquiao leaving with another woman from his Jimmy Kimmel appearance is re-sparking rumors of the boxer’s infidelity to his wife Jinkee. It’s all spreading through the magic of online video!

Manny Pacquiao put on yet another dominating performance Saturday night, knocking down Cotto twice and turning his face into a bloody mess before finally stopping him at 55 seconds of the 12th round.
The Filipino star Manny Pacquiao used his blazing speed and power from both hands to win his seventh title in seven weight classes and cement his stature as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Cotto took such a beating that his face was a river of red from the fury of Pacquiao’s punches but he refused to quit even as his corner tried to throw in the towel after the 11th round.
The fight was billed as a 145-pound classic, and in the early rounds it didn’t disappoint. The two went after each other with a vengeance and Cotto more than held his own as they traded punches in the center of the ring.
